Can I use an OFYR grill in winter?
Absolutely. OFYR is designed for year-round outdoor cooking — including winter.
The open fire and thick steel cooking plate perform exceptionally well in cold temperatures, and many OFYR owners say winter is their favourite season to cook outside. The warmth of the flame, the snow, the aromas… it all adds to the experience.
In colder weather, the grill may take a little longer to reach full temperature, but once hot, it maintains heat beautifully. Just use dry wood, allow a few extra minutes to preheat, and enjoy creating warm, flavourful dishes even on the coldest days.
